Celes Lacombe

Gueydan—Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Gueydan Cemetery honoring the life of Celes Lacombe, 74, who died on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Calvin Lacombe of Gueydan; one daughter, Yvonne and her husband, Francis Poirier of Youngsville; two grandchildren, Krystal and Brandon Poirier of Youngsville; three sisters, Evelyn Richard of Gueydan, Ruby Saltzman of Nunez, and Rosa Cormier of Gueydan; and two brothers, Lloyd Touchet of Gueydan and Lasley Touchet of Abbeville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Touchet and the former Ada Cormier; three brothers, Linus, Henry, and Irving "Tee" Touchet; and one sister, Beatrice Ryder.
