Charles Breaux

Gueydan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Charles Breaux, 63, who died Monday, January 23, 2023 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.  Serving as pallbearers will be Balyn Breaux, Landyn Breaux, Josh Breaux, Horace Mathews, Sonny Mouton and Jeremy Foreman. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan, Noah and Jake.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Angela S. Breaux of Gueydan; his two sons, Joseph Breaux and his wife, Tiffany of Gueydan and Charles Breaux of Gueydan; his daughter, Amanda Mouton and her husband, Sonny of Gueydan; his ten grandchildren, Balyn, Landyn, Logan, Taylor, Sidney, Jase, Maeline, Kora, Noah and Charli Claire; his sister, Penny Trahan and her husband, Brian of Kaplan; his two brothers, Wade Breaux of Gueydan and Lonnie Breaux and his wife, Michelle of Branch.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Aline Breaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 9:30 AM.
