Charlotte Dietz Becker

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2024  at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Charlotte Dietz Becker, 65, who died Sunday, August 25, 2024 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Pastor Marc Sampey officiating the services.  Serving as pallbearers will be P.J. Best, Mickey Delahoussaye, Larry Becker, Daniel Mouton, Brent Simmons, and Johny Toups.

Charlotte graduated from Abbeville High School in 1977.  She was creative and enjoyed crafting and scrapbooking. Her true passion was loving and doting on her grandchildren.  Beloved wife, mother, and maw-maw will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jimmy Becker; daughters, Heather Best and her husband, P.J., and Ashley Becker and her companion, Mickey Delahoussaye; grandchildren, Ethan Best, Eli Best, and Amelia Delahoussaye; sister, Celina Dietz; brother, Luke Dietz; brother-in-law, Larry Becker; sisters-in-law, Faye Becker, Ann Duhon, and Joyce Toups; best friend, Rose Meaux and her "Scrappy" friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick “Freddie” Dietz and the former Florence Milliman; sister, Elizabeth D. Henry; and brothers, Ricky Dale Dietz, Sr., and Leroy Dietz.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 9:30 AM until time of services.
