Cheryl Marie Meaux

Abbeville—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2019 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Cheryl Marie Meaux, 66, who died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Vermilion Health Care Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Donald Bernard officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Jacob Harrington, Jacob Harrington, Jr., Joseph Harrington, Kevin Harrington, Louis Harrington, Jr., and Jake Buckley.

Cheryl is survived by her parents, Jeffery and Ida Libersat Meaux; companion, Gaulman Harrington; two daughters, Courtney Meaux Buckley and her husband, Jake, and Lisa Meaux Harrington and her husband, Jacob; five grandchildren, Camille, Amelie, Jacob Jr., Joseph and Kevin; sister, Donna Meaux Lormand and her husband, Ward; and brothers, Jeff Meaux and his wife, Pam, and Michael Meaux and his wife, Nancy.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amelia Buckley; sister, Lisa Meaux; grandparents, Leon and Agnes Schexnayder Meaux, and Raywood and Eliza Richard Libersat.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, Heart of Hospice and Vermilion Health Care Center for the care and compassion for Cheryl in her time of need.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Monday, August 19, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 1:45 PM when the procession will depart for the church. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM.
