Chris Crochet

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Chris Crochet, 49, who died Thursday, March 18, 2021.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Conner, Clayton Duhon, Brian Braus, Layne Mouton, Nathan Mouton and T-Boy Gary. Honorary pallbearer will be Corey Henry.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Cheryl Crochet of Kaplan; his daughters, Alexandria Crochet of Kaplan, Rachel Broussard of Kaplan and Ashley Adams and her fiancѐ, Corey Henry of Morse; his four grandchildren, Valerie Broussard, Layne Mouton, Shelby Broussard and Nathan Mouton; his mother, Carolyn LeGros of Kaplan; his maternal grandmother, Wydell LaGros of Jennings; his sister, Lisa Meaux and her husband, Trent Meaux of Meaux; and his two brothers, Lynn Mott of Virginia and Glenn Mott of Jennings.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Crochet; his three sisters, Darla Crochet, Roxanne Crochet and Kimberly Crochet; and his maternal grandfather, David LeGros, Sr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:30 AM.
