Christopher Chas Linscombe

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Gueydan Methodist Church honoring the life of Christopher Chas Linscombe, 51, who died September 14, 2023 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Chyrelena Peyton officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Jeb Linscombe, Ryan Linscombe, Jimmy Gorman, Earl Roesch, Jr., Jonathon Williams and Bobby Jo Watson. Honorary pallbearer is Seth Linscombe.

He is survived by his mother, Denise Linscombe of Metairie; his father, Steven Linscombe and his wife, Judy of Mountain Home, TX; his sister, Darian Linscombe of Austin, TX; and his brother, Ryan Linscombe of Kerrville, TX.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Viola Linscombe; his maternal grandparents, Myrtle and Brady Cormier and A.W. and Jeanne Watson.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM; Monday, September 18, 2023 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 10:45 AM.
