Clomare "Bud" Trahan

July 26, 1920 — May 27, 2018

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Clomare Trahan, 97, who died Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Cody Miller officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Ian Trahan, Zachary Trahan, George Roane IV, Benny Falcon, Karl Trahan, Jr. and Michael Hebert.

“Bud” is survived by his son, Karl W. Trahan, Sr. and his wife, Miriam LaFleur Trahan of Maurice; daughter, Linda Gail Trahan Falcon and her husband, Benny of Palestine, TX; sister, Lillian Dooley of Delcambre; grandchildren, Karl W. Trahan, Jr. and wife Barbara of Lamoore, CA, Ian B. Trahan and wife Natalie of Lafayette, Cheri Trahan Roane and husband George Roane IV, of Lafayette and Kris Falcon and wife Holly of Denver, CO; twelve great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Picard Trahan; parents, Emile Trahan and the former Clodora Langlinais; brothers, Edvard Trahan, Clotis Trahan and Antoine Trahan; sisters, Lydia Landry and Lylia Comeaux; and great grandchild Quint Roane.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 8:00 AM until time of services.
