Cole Younger David

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Cole Younger David, 67, who died Thursday, September 28, 2023 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at LeMaire Cemetery with Reverend Stephen Irudayasamy officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Deanie David of Cow Island; one son, Jerrod David (Holly) of the Virgin Islands; two stepsons, Blake Mouton (Keisha) of Forked Island and Tyler Mouton (Jasmine) of Cow Island; two daughters, Lacey David of Maurice and McKenzie David of Cow Island; one stepdaughter, Haylie Mouton of Erath; three sisters, Rhonda Baudoin of Kaplan, Nell Romero of Kaplan, and Julia Touchet of Cow Island; three brothers, Forrest David of Texas, Troy David of Duson, and Harris Michael David of Cow Island; three grandchildren, Aimee Gaudet, Joseph Gaudet and Shae Gaudet; and two step-grandchildren, Hayes Mouton and Aiden Mouton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harris David and the former Learline Gaspard of Cow Island.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Monday, October 2, 2023 from 8:00 AM until the services begin at 10:00 AM.
