C.R. Hebert

Kaplan

Kaplan, Louisiana- A Funeral Service Officiated by Deacon Tom Sommers will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 07, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of C.R. Hebert, 77, who passed away on February 5, 2025.

C.R. was known for his strong will and steadfast determination. He was passionate about raising & racing horses and on any given weekend, you could find him at the "barn" or the track. C.R. was the kind of person who didn't settle for what was available. He attended USL and graduated in 1995, later in life than most, inspiring his children to further their education. C.R. cherished his wife, children, grandchildren, horses, and coffee milk. After years of battling Parkinson's disease, he is now set free. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Cemetery. 

C.R. is survived by his cherished spouse, Lottie Jane Sonnier Hebert, of 58 years; two sons, Glade Bryant Hebert and Draper Hebert; two daughters, Gena Hebert Lemaire (Kurt) and Angie Hebert (Gerit); one brother, Rodolph Hebert Jr., two sister-in-laws, Lomire Rung Hebert and Florine Duhon Hebert; six grandchildren, Kylee Angele Lemaire (Landon), Tanner Jordyn Lemaire, Parker Jude Hebert, Lainie Erin Hebert, Layla Marie Hebert, and Riley Ann Hebert; three nieces, Mary Catherine Benett, Mary Lynn Williams, and Kristie Hebert Hughes; four nephews; Greg Meaux, Kent Meaux, Boyd Meaux, and Rodolph "Roddy" Hebert III; one godchild, Anette Hebert; and one great-grandchild arriving in May CC Stelly.

He is preceded in death by his parents Rodoloh Hebert Sr. and Alor Harrington Hebert; his brother, Easton John Hebert; his sister, Velta Meaux Hebert; his mother-n-law, Daisy Sonnier, his father-n-law, Dalton Sonnier; and his brother-in-law, Marvin Sonnier and Harry Gene Meaux.

Pallbearers will be Glade Hebert, Draper Hebert, Kent Meaux, Larry Bergeron, Tanner Lemaire, and Parker Hebert.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rodolf Hebert Jr., Gerit Menard, Kurt Picard, and Landon Stelly.

All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (337) 643-7276.
