Cynthia "Tootie" Lachaussee

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Cynthia "Tootie" Lachaussee, 56, who died Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Harrington Cemetery with Father "Su" Suresh Mathangi officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, St. Julien Lachaussee of Erath; one daughter, Samantha Lachaussee of Mouton Cove; her parents, Leroy J. Marceaux and the former Delana Richard of Forked Island; her boyfriend, Leslie James Lavalley of Forked Island; two grandchildren, Layne Lacour and Leah Lacour; one sister, Melinda "Pabony" Landry of Kaplan; and one brother, Romaine "R.P." Marceaux of Forked Island.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Romaine Paul and Daisy L. Marceaux; and her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Learna T. Richard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
