Daniel Wayne Hargrave

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September  9, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Daniel Hargrave, 64, who died Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Deacon Bryan Istre officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Peggy T. Hargrave of Abbeville; his two daughters, Haley D. Hargrave and Mark Meche, Jr. of Estherwood and Danielle H. Frederick and her husband, Dayton of Nunez; his two stepchildren, Evan Guidry and his wife, Katie of Kaplan and Megan Richard and her husband, Jeremy of Kaplan; his mother, Ruby Hargrave and her companion, Cleveland Breaux of Forked Island; his brother, David Hargrave and his wife, Tina of Forked Island; and his eight grandchildren, Ryker, Maddox and Blaise Frederick, Van and Kaz Guidry and Claire, Sarah and Andrew Richard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph C. Hargrave; and his brother, Ray Allen Hargrave.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, September  8, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Friday, September  9, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 1:00 PM.
