Darnella Ann Lemaire

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Darnella Ann LeMaire, 67, who passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Abbeville General Hospital.  She will be laid to rest at Immaculate Conception Cemetery with Deacon Bryan Istre officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Damien DeBlanc, Clint Hebert, Blaine Broussard, Adam Abshire, Cody Suire and Stefen LeMaire, and Jhett Hebert will be an honorary pallbearer.

She is survived by her son, Damien DeBlanc of Maurice; her two daughters, Daphne Hebert and her husband, Clint of Kaplan and Rilyn Brumley of Kaplan; her six grandchildren, London Hebert, Reese Hebert, Jhett Hebert, Bailey DeBlanc, Briaona Pontiff, and Dayvon Simon; her great grandchildren, Kainen Stanford and Levi Roden; her two sisters, Charlotte LeMaire of Kaplan and Carlos Abshire and her husband, Carl of Forked Island; her brother, Ronald LeMaire and his wife, Tina Scott; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donny DeBlanc; her parents, Carl and Mary LeMaire; her brother, Johnny LeMaire; and her niece, April Abshire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM.
