Darryl Wayne Campbell, Sr.

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Gueydan First United Methodist Church honoring the life of Darryl Wayne Campbell, Sr., 73, who died Saturday, January 9, 2021 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend John Krause officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Taylor Vallo, Kobi Turner, Blake Campbell, Steven Richard, David Simon, and Kirk Maxile. Honorary pallbearer will be Gabe Turner.

He is survived by his wife, Loraine Broussard Campbell of Gueydan; his son, Darryl Wayne Campbell, Jr. and his partner, Sergio Yibrin of St. Gabriel; his daughter, Tanya  Vallo and her husband, Robbie of Gueydan; his five grandchildren; his three great grandchildren; and his brother, Rocky Lee Campbell and his wife, Christine of Gueydan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson "Buck" Campbell and the former Ouida Pego; and his two sisters, Alicia Campbell Istre and Cynthia Campbell Gaspard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM; Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 12:45 PM.
