Dave John Simon

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June  9, 2020 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Dave John Simon, 76, who died Friday, June 5, 2020 at Acadia General Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly Clostio Simon of Kaplan; his son, Dave Quintin Simon and his wife, Bonnie of Cow Island; his two daughters, Ann Bonnette and her husband, Curtis of Sunset and Tammy Davidson and her husband, Robbie of St. Martinville; his sister, Rose Broussard of Kaplan; and his five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Audie John Simon; his parents, Gilfert Simon, Sr. and the former Gurdia Byron; and his five brothers, Gilfert, Jr., Clarence, Carol, James, and Joseph Simon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, June  9, 2020 from 8:00 AM until the services 10:00 AM.
