Deanna Fluitt Lemaire

Gueydan-Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Gueydan honoring the life of Deanna Fluitt LeMaire, 69, who died Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home.  She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Pastor Troy Duhon officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Lemaire, Trace Lemaire, Jacob Fluitt, Sam Fluitt, Gabe Fluitt, and Billy Smith.

She is survived by her spouse of 50 years, Ronnie Lemaire; her sons, Joshua Lemaire and his wife, Kerri of Lafayette and Chad Lemaire and his wife, Malena of Gueydan; her daughter, Jacelyn Lemaire of Lafayette; her sister, Katy Conrad and her husband, Benny of Bastrop, TX; her three brothers, Calvin Fluitt and his wife, Brenda of Mountain Home, TX, Jerry Fluitt and his wife, Becky of Gueydan, and Norwood King Jr. and his wife, Corenda of Waxahachie, TX; her grandchildren, Derek Lemaire and his wife, Kreslyn of Nunez, Trace Lemaire of Gueydan, Ali Lemaire of Gueydan, and Charlee Lemaire of Lafayette; and her three great grandchildren, Molly, Logan, and Colt Lemaire.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Fluitt Sr. and the former Anna Campbell; her brothers, Robert "Pappy" Fluitt, David Nelson Fluitt Jr., Burl "Bootsie" Fluitt, and George Fluitt; and her sisters, Jo "Josie" Agnes Murff and Mary Lou Smith.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM; Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
