Delores "Tina" Meyers

Kaplan—Graveside services were held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services honoring the life of Delores “Tina” Meyers, 79, who died Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.

“Tina” was a lifelong resident of Kaplan.  She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, going to the casino and riding in the vehicle as she never learned to drive one.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Meyers Saltzman and her husband, Chad; her son, Cory Meyers; her brother, Leon "Nootsie" Meyers and his wife, Debbie; her six grandchildren, Ami, Kerri, Renee, Reece, Kellie and Kenneth; her one great grandchild, Sylas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kendall "Dude" Meyers; her mother, Mable Guidry; her father, Leonard Meyers; and her half-sister, Lou Ella Goodrich.
