Delta Broussard Touchet

Abbeville—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May  5, 2021 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Delta Broussard Touchet, 96, who died Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Pelican Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation.  She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Louis J. Richard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Touchet, Nick Touchet, Scott Mouton, Derek Guidry, Patrick Touchet and John Nick Touchet.

She is survived by her son, Charles Touchet and his wife, Rabetta of Abbeville; one daughter, Wanda and her husband, Calvin Cormier of Abbeville; six grandchildren, Monica Mouton, Chad Cormier, Charmaine Cormier, Ryan Touchet, Nick Touchet and Stephanie Guidry; 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Presley Broussard and his wife, Annabelle of Meaux; and one sister, Janelle and her husband, Dunice Meaux of Meaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Linus J. Touchet; her siblings, Loland Broussard, Rosa Broussard Hartman, Pervis Broussard, Dunice Broussard, Alvin Broussard, Kenneth Broussard and Ella Harrington; and her parents, Claude and Effie Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Wednesday, May  5, 2021 from 10:30 AM until 12:45 PM when the procession will depart for the church.
