Destiny "Des" Rose Hargrave

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Destiny “Des” Rose Hargrave, 20, who died Monday, November 8, 2021.  She will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Adian Hargrave, Paul Stelly, Ethan Trahan, Grant Perrin, Eric Touchet, “T–Boz” Touchet, Wayne Hargrave, Jr. and Jeff Abshire. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonah Ross Deangelo, Lee Christopher Noel, Jr., Harley James Sanders and Ethan Turner.

Destiny was a full time student at University of Louisiana at Lafayette studying radiology.

She is survived by her mother, Josette Trahan of Forked Island; her father, Adian Hargrave of Madisonville; her boyfriend, Grant Julian Perrin of Forked Island; her sister, Daphani Hargrave of Forked Island; her brother, Memphis Hargrave of Madisonville; her maternal grandparents, Eldridge “Bozo” and Joyce “Sis” Touchet; her godfather, Eldridge “T-Boz” Touchet III (Danielle); her uncle, Eric Touchet (Rosanne); and her cousins, Shelbi, Ava, Erica and Liam Touchet.

She was preceded in death by her nanny, Danielle Abshire; and her maternal great grandparents, Eldridge "Man" Touchet and Ella Mae Touchet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM.
