Kaplan—It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dianna Menard, 66, who died Saturday, August 3, 2024 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan honoring her life. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be observed at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 8:00 AM until services begin at 11:00 AM.
Born on October 27, 1957, Dianna’s life was a testament to love, creativity, and family devotion. She had a passion for crocheting and drawing, crafts through which she expressed her artistic spirit and shared her warmth.
Above all, Dianna was a family woman. She treasured every moment spent with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ronald "Dago" Menard of Kaplan; her son, Eric Menard (Courtney) of Maurice; her daughter, Amanda Vinson (Brad) of Scott; seven grandchildren, Sydnee, Mari, and Josie Vinson, and Layne, Rowyn, Emmett, and Evan Menard; three sisters, Ruby Duhon of Kaplan, Sharon Morvant of Kaplan, and Tammy Floyd (Mike) of Sulphur; and one brother, Wayne Guidry (Michelle) of Kaplan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton Guidry and the former Enix Duhon; three brothers, Marcus, Jerry and Mark Guidry.
