It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, and uncle, Donnie. He leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, love, and laughter.

Donnie's journey in this life was marked by his deep and profound love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His greatest passion was to lead others to Jesus, constantly sharing the message of love and salvation. Every conversation with Donnie was adorned with the reminder that he loved you, and Jesus loved you even more.

A devoted and selfless husband, Donnie exemplified the love of Jesus through his care for his wife, Cheryl. Despite battling health problems of his own, he embraced the role of a loving caretaker, showcasing the true essence of sacrificial love. His contagious laugh could light up any room, bringing joy to those fortunate enough to share in his laughter.

Donnie's commitment to prayer was a testament to his faith. A reliable prayer partner, he could always be counted on to join in fervent prayer, offering support and agreement. His life reflected the fruits of the spirit, as he carried the peace, hope, and love of Jesus in every circumstance.

From the perspective of his nephew, Donnie's relationship with Jesus was a guiding light in every aspect of his life. Whether facing challenges or embracing daily tasks, he consistently gave thanks, glory, and honor to the Lord. Donnie's words were filled with encouragement, always steering others back to the Word of God and a personal relationship with Jesus.

In the days ahead, as we mourn the loss of Donnie, let us also celebrate the profound impact he had on our lives. His legacy of love, faith, and joy will forever be cherished in our hearts. As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Donnie's favorite parting words: "I love you, and Jesus loves you."
