Doris Domangue Duhon

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Doris Domangue Duhon, 80, who died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Minister Nathan LeJeune officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Brett Domangue, Bobby Hargrave, Chezz Durocher, Brock Domangue, Justin LeJeune, and Jeremy Richard. Honorary pallbearers will be Benjamin Hargrave and Josh LeJeune.

Doris was a native of Morgan City, and a resident of Kaplan. The family would like to give thanks to her care givers, Jenifer Hanks and Florence Touchet. They would also like to thank the staff of Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital, Dr. Randall Faulk, Lamm Family Care and Kaplan Home Care for the years of services that they have provided.

She is survived by her son, Brett Domangue of Rayne; two daughters, Susan and her husband, Bobby Hargrave of Kaplan and Jana and her husband, Thad Mire of Kaplan; two sisters, Dorothy Boudreaux of Houma and Olive Hebert of Franklin; two brothers, Stephen Domangue, Jr. and his wife, Liz of Houma and Richard Domangue and his wife, Connie of Morgan City; five grandchildren, Tiffany LeJeune, Brock Domangue, Benjamin Hargrave, Heather Hargrave, and Hillary Mire; and two great grandchildren, Justin and Josh LeJeune.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Duhon; three brothers, Ira, Herman and Elwood Domangue; three sisters, Enola Lipari, Ola Mae Landry, and Eva Mae Domangue; her parents, Stephen Domangue and the former Maggie Fryou; her mother-in-law, Lucia Duhon; and her father-in-law, Howard Duhon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the services at 1:00 PM.
