Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Elia Baudoin Guidry, 91, who died peacefully at 10:21 AM on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at her residence on Valentine’s Day.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Pastor Walter Baudoin officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Brian Hebert, Benson Hebert, Brent Hebert, Brady Hebert, Toby Mallet and Dakota Redwing.

Miss Elia B. Guidry is survived by her son, Larry James Guidry and his wife Cheryl; daughters, Velma Ann Hebert and her husband Roland, and Paulette Marie Mallet; eleven grandchildren, Brian Hebert and his wife Marlene, Benson Hebert and his wife Christina, Brent Hebert, Bradley Hebert, Brady Hebert, Waynette M. Redwing, Toby Mallet, Jacobi Guidry, Ian Guidry, Chance Guidry and Jace Guidry; great-grandchildren, Kyle Hebert, Jean Luc Hebert, Andre Hebert, Noel Hebert, Arianne Hebert, Kaleb Hebert, Kristin Louviere, Dakota Redwing, Asa Redwing, Kylie Redwing and Divada Mallet; great great grandchildren, Owen James Hebert and Sterling Romero; brother, Walter Baudoin; and sisters, Laurence Perales and Una Baudoin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Guidry; parents, Emile Baudoin and the former Alicia Bourque; son, Johnny Paul Guidry; sister, Louis Duhon and Edith Broussard; and brothers, Noah Baudoin, Otto Baudoin, Joseph Baudoin, Marcel Baudoin, Gladu Baudoin and Minos Baudoin; and a grandchild, Stuee Louviere.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of services. A rosary being prayed at 1:15 PM.
