Ella B. Harrington

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ella B. Harrington, 82, who died Friday, January 8, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.  She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Luke Harrington, Trent Menard, Carl Harrington, Quentin Harrington, Scotty Harrington, and Solomon Harrington. Honorary pallbearers will be Wyatt Harrington, Jayson Hood, and Jason Hartman.

She is survived by her three sons, Brent Harrington and his wife, Rhonda of  Meaux, Chris Harrington and his wife, Mona of Meaux, and Todd Harrington and his companion, Ryan of Baton Rouge; her two daughters, Denise Landry and her husband, Wesley of Meaux and Claire Duhon and her husband, Brandon of Kaplan; her 11 grandchildren, Lana, Luke, Krystle, Carl, Quentin, Scotty, Solomon, Aliyah, Kinley, Kadey, and Aaron; her  seven great grandchildren, Kylee, Nicole, Wyatt, Adley, Aubrey, Zoe, and Piper; her two brothers, Alvin Broussard and his wife, Winnie of Meaux and Presley Broussard and his wife, Anna Belle of Meaux; and her two sisters, Delta Touchet of Meaux and Jannell Meaux and her husband, Dunice "T-Lee" of Meaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Harrington; her parents, Claude and Effie Broussard; her sister, Rosa Hartman; and her four brothers, Dunice Broussard, Pervis Broussard, Loland Broussard, and Kenneth Broussard.

The family would like to thank the staff of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center for all of their care and compassion during this time.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
