Ella Mae Touchet

Cow Island—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 18, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Ella Mae Touchet, 88, who died Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice.  She will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by her four sons, Ronald Gaspard and his wife, Sandra of Forked Island, Galis Touchet and his wife, Liz of Erath, Eldridge "Bozo" Touchet, Jr. and his wife, Joyce of Forked Island, Arthur Touchet and his fiancée, Donna of Forked Island; her three daughters, Alice Touchet of Forked Island, Patricia LaSalle and her husband, Tommy of Forked Island, Romona "Mona" Reed and her husband, Doris of Kaplan; 19 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge "Man" Touchet, Sr.; her parents, Arthur Trahan and the former Odia Fontenot; four grandchildren, Marcus Reed, Danielle Uriegas, Colt Touchet, and Karli Touchet; one brother; and five sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 3:00 PM until the services on Friday with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM Thursday night.
