Eloise Morgan Vaughan

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Eloise Morgan Vaughan, 91, who died Monday, September 23, 2024. She will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Reverend Brad Broussard officiating the services.

Eloise was a passionate reader and enjoyed creating beautiful quilts for family and friends. No visit to her home was complete with indulging in her favorite treat, Hershey’s Kisses. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sister, Virginia Morvant; her children, Gary Vaughan and wife, Deidra, Danna Mirza and Diane Vaughan; her grandchildren Jeannie Vaughan, Stacy Darbonne, Natalie Seaton, Jeremy Vaughan, Jade Vaughan, Amber Ortiz, Dylan Vaughan and Kristyn Schieffer; and her great grandchildren, Jaycelyn, McKinley, Riley, Kaizen, Khiren, Jairden, Ella, Korben, Cylus, Eloise, Morgan, Emberly, Jaleigh, Braxton and Ian.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Vaughan; her sons, Kevin and Jerry Vaughan; and her grandson, Kevin Vaughan, Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM; Thursday, September 26, 2024  from 8:00 AM until the services at 10:00 AM.
