Emily C. Gaspard

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Emily Clostio Gaspard, 75, who died Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.  She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Hebert officiating the services.

She is survived by her three sons, Ronald Gaspard and his wife, Erica of Abbeville, Ricky Gaspard of Cow Island, and Lollis Gaspard and his wife, Crystal of Forked Island; her daughter, Elita "Mandy" Gaspard of Cow Island; her 13 grandchildren, Kyle Gaspard, Kalen Gaspard, Kipp Gaspard, Trent Luquette, Seth Gaspard, Grant Gaspard, Dustin Gaspard, Emily Gaspard, Amber Gaspard, Paige Gaspard, Hayes Gaspard, Ian Gaspard, and Cole Duhon; her two great grandchildren, Adalyn Gaspard and Owen Gaspard; and her two sisters, Beverly Simon of Kaplan and Margaret Hargrave and her husband, Ronnie of Cow Island.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald "Shaw" Gaspard; and her parents, Calice Clostio and the former  Margaret Touchet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
