Evelyn L. Landry

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Evelyn L. Landry, 81, who died Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Kaplan Healthcare Center.  She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Winston Landry of Kaplan; two sons, Gabriel W. Landry, Jr. of Kaplan and Anthony Landry and his wife, Johnna of Duson; her daughter, Monica Hebert of Kaplan; seven grandchildren, Paul, Gabe, Chip, Craig, Bliss, Lacey, and Lane; ten great grandchildren, Noah, Trynidi, Kynnedi, Evie, Hunter, Eden, Hayden, Jolie, Dax, and Myka; two sisters, Delores and her husband, Lewis Landsman of Conroe, TX and Laverne and her husband, Larry  Tagtmeyer of Montgomery, Tx; and three brothers, Edward Lezak of El Campo, TX, Marion Lezak of El Meton, TX, and Bobby Lezak and his wife, Penny of Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Lezak and the former Claudia Sivek; two brothers, Jerry Lezak and Anthony Lezak; and one sister, Anna Marie Lezak.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 1:45 PM with a rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM.
