Felix Edwards Walters Jr.

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Felix Edwards Walters Jr., 41, who died Monday, February 27, 2023. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery – Delcambre. Those serving as pallbearers will be Antonio Walters, Sr., Braxton Brown, Torey Green, DeAndre Williams, Chevaun Walters, Tyreke Alicea, Christian Mitchell and Aaron Greene.  Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Jackson, Caylond Torres, Trevaun Walters, Caliq Walters, Tyrese Green, Mailik Walters and Alex Greene.

Felix is the owner and operator of We Do Services.  In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music and fixing up cars, but most of all he cherished his time with his children.

He is survived by his spouse, Chassatey Jackson; children, Trevaun M. Walters, Caliq Walters and Raegon D. Walters; stepchildren, Cameron Jackson, Caylond Torres, Ryan Sinegal and Michale Jackson; father and step-mother, Felix and Shonelle Walters; paternal grandmother, Marie Edwards; siblings, Marie Drain, Sharon Walters, Kimoi Hackshaw, Chadrice Walters, Antonio Walters, Sr., Amiyah Mitchell, Maciyah Mitchell and Malik Walters; special companion, Maranda Melancon and her children, Myah Melancon, Adrian Godette and Aikan Godette; nieces/nephews, Tyreke Alicea, Felicita Davis, Tatiana Drain, Chris Mitchell, Christina Hackshaw, Kimberli Harrison, Chevaun Walters, Tyrese Green, Jaycianna Walters, Antonio Walters, Jr., Jordan Walters, Isaiah Walters and Reign Walters.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Estelle Castro Walters and grandmother, Francisca Felix.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 9:00 AM until time of services.
