Fred Neil Mcgehee, Sr.

On Wednesday, June 24, 2020, Fred Neil McGehee Sr., loving father of five children, passed away at the age of 76. Fred was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, friend, and mentor. He exhibited a strong work ethic until his last days. His love for his family and country were unwavering. He shared his quick wit and wisdom with all who knew him. He was also a challenge to beat in Scrabble!

He is survived by his five children Keith McGehee, Melinda McGehee, Michelle Rupert, Fred McGehee Jr., and Alexis Slade.

Fred was preceded in death by his wife Margaret.

He will be missed by many. If you knew Fred, his parting words would be “I wish you enough” and “I love you more.” In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Make A Wish Foundation in the name of Fred & Margaret McGehee.

A memorial service will take place at a later date in Mississippi.
