F.W. "Rickey" Chapman

Gueydan—Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Gueydan Cemetery honoring the life of Frederick Warren “Rickey” Chapman III, 73, who died Sunday, February 28, 2021.  Reverend Corey Campeaux will officiate the services.

At the time of his death, Rickey was a business consultant. He was the cofounder and owner of Land and Offshore Service for many years and he was a member of the State of Louisiana Mineral Board. He was a world traveler for both business and pleasure. Rickey will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Jeri Chapman of Gueydan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Warren Chapman, Jr. and the former Naomi Williams; his daughter, Jane Elizabeth Chapman; and his niece, Amy Chapman Troxell.
