Gavin Joseph Meaux

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Gavin Joseph Meaux, 27, who died Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.  He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Pastor Jacob Aranza officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Keegan Stanford, Jacob Kehrer, Paxton Fusilier, Jade LeMaire, Kenya Williams, and Erik Meaux. Mason Meaux and Levi Kehrer will serve as honorary pallbearers.

He is survived by his father, Michael Meaux and his wife, Christine of Kaplan; his mother, Leslie Meaux of Lafayette; his sister, Morgan Meaux Kehrer and her husband, Jacob of Lafayette; his stepbrother, Jade LeMaire of Abbeville; his stepsister, Chelsie LeMaire of Lafayette; his two nieces, Lily Kehrer and Annabelle Williams; his two nephews, Levi Kehrer and Taylor Williams; two aunts, Misti Fusilier and her husband, Paxton of Kaplan and Ashlie Robicheaux Semar and her husband, B.J. of Indian Bayou; and his uncle, Erik Meaux and his wife, Tiffany of Abbeville; his maternal grandfather, Wade Robicheaux of Crowley; his maternal grandmother, Ellen Viator of Indian Bayou; his paternal grandfather, Michael Meaux of Erath; and nine cousins, Keegan Stanford, Mason Meaux, Madeline Meaux, Kathryn Stanford, Emmilyn Semar, Madalyn Semar, Kainen Stanford, Corley Fusilier and Bailey DeBlanc.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Gage Michael Meaux; and his paternal grandmother, Kathy Meaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the services 11:00 AM.
