Gaynelle Trahan Duhon

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Gaynelle Marie Trahan Duhon, 85, who died Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Eastridge Nursing Center.  She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Tom Sommers officiating the services.

Gaynelle was the property manager for many years at The Courtyards.  Later she went on to open her own debt collection business.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra A. Simon & her lifeline, Jessie LeBlanc; sons, Corrie J. Duhon & his wife, Geselle (Zella) Duhon, and Brian J. Duhon & his fiancée, Valrae; granddaughter, Claudine Duhon Thoms; seven great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.    She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond Joseph Trahan and the former Oza Bourque; husband, Claude Duhon; grandson, Jason Corrie Duhon; and great granddaughter, Laura Tabitha Hidalgo.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 9:00 AM until time of services.

The family would also like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the professionals of Eastridge Nursing Center and the compassionate ladies of Traditions Hospice. We couldn't have managed without you!
