George Dale Richard

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of George Dale Richard, 74, who died Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Matt Hebert officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Deborah Richard of Kaplan; his two sons, Scott Richard and his wife, Holly of Prairieville and Nicholas Richard and his wife, Jennifer of Baton Rouge; his daughter, Stacey Bint and her husband, Andrew of  New Zealand; his eight grandchildren, Preston, Reagan, Christopher, Jonathan, Emily, Samantha, Coen. and Kale; and his brother, James Richard and his wife, Sandy of  Lafayette.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Richard; his parents, Preston Richard and the former Winnie Hebert; and his niece, Tammy Richard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 10:00 AM.
