Gerald Paul D'Augereau Sr.

Abbeville—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Gerald Paul d'Augereau Sr., 80, who died Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Louis J. Richard officiating the services.  Pallbearers will be Kevin Sehon, Robert Sehon, Paul Friou, Brian Anderson, David Broussard and Trey d'Augereau.  Honorary pallbearers will be Paul d'Augereau and Cam Friou.

He is survived by his son, Gerald P. d'Augereau Jr.; three daughters, Dionne Sehon (Kevin), Jerri d'Augereau (Brian), and Dani d'Augereau (Paul); grandchildren, Trey d'Augereau, Zackery d'Augereau, Cory d'Augereau, Robert Sehon (Elizabeth), Samantha Sehon (Marcus), Madison Sehon, Brooklyn Laenger, Emma Laenger, Cam Friou, and Lottie "LaLa" Friou; seven great grandchildren; sister, Beverly Broussard; and sister-in-law, Silissa d'Augereau.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lognion d'Augereau; parents, Claude d'Augereau and the former Ida Hebert; brother, Brent d'Augereau; brother-in-law, Thomas Broussard; and nephew, Tommy Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 8:00 AM until 10:15 AM when the procession will depart for the church.  A rosary is being prayed at 9:30 AM.
