Gladys Gaspard Dupuis

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December  3, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Gladys Gaspard Dupuis, 97, who died Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Vermilion Health Care Center.  She will be laid to rest at LeMaire Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley and Reverand Farley Painter officiating the services.

She is survived by her three sons, Darvey Dupuis and his wife, Helen of Kaplan, Ollie Dupuis, Jr. and his wife, Patty of Kaplan, and Wade Dupuis and his wife, Christina of Meaux; her five daughters, Diane D. Hebert of Mouton Cove, Della Ruth and her husband, Raywood Dartez of Jonesboro, TN, Vivian and her husband, Leslie Burkholder of Kaplan, June and her husband, Herbert J. Verret of Cow Island, and Tina and her husband, Marcus Greene of Cow Island; her sister, Dorothy Mae Snoddy of Lafayette; 26 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; and 30 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Dupuis, Sr.; two sons, Lorman L. Dupuis and Darold D. Dupuis, Sr.; two grandsons, Darold D. Dupuis, Jr. and Brandon J. David; two great grandchildren, Joseph Eddington and Adrien Rene Frederick; one great-great granddaughter, Brittlyn Willis; one son-in-law, Gerald Hebert; her parents, Jedon Gaspard and the former Anna Lege; four brothers; and two sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, December  2, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM; Tuesday, December  3, 2019 from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 2:00 PM.
