Helen T. Blier

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Kaplan Baptist Church honoring the life of Helen T. Blier, 72, who died Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Calcutta House - Hospice of Acadiana in Lafayette. She will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Timmy Farris officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gilbert J. Blier; one daughter, Lucy Broussard and her husband, Robert, of Duson; one brother, Anthony "Tony" Touchet of Bastrop, LA; and one granddaughter, Madilyn Broussard of Duson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Touchet and the former Lucy Vidalier.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM; Monday, June 10, 2024 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for church at 10:45 AM.
