Helen Mire Broussard

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 09, 2020 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St. honoring the life of Helen Mire Broussard, 88, who died Friday, March 06, 2020 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Fr. François Sainte-Marie officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Caden Broussard, Gage Broussard, T-Babe Broussard, Robert Estaville, Justin Clements, and Joshua Plummer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Broussard, Jason Broussard, Lane Bodin, Blake Bodin, Johnathan Clements, and Denny Plummer.

Helen is survived by her sons, Curvis Broussard and Carl Broussard and his wife Debbie; her daughter, Gayle Plummer and her husband Dennis; grandchildren, Jamie Broussard and wife Cherie, Barry Broussard, Brandon Broussard and wife Tabatha, Brian Bailey and wife Bridget, Curvis Broussard, Jr., Dwayne Broussard, Jason Broussard and wife Keesha, Angela Estaville and husband Rob, Johnathan Clements and wife Hope, Joshua Plummer and wife Meghan, Dennis Plummer and wife Raquel, and Rebecca Davis; great grandchildren, Caden Broussard, Cori Broussard, Blake Bodin, Lane Bodin, Jenna Bodin, Kaylie Martin, Gage Broussard, Lexie Broussard, Kelsie Broussard, Justin Clements, Ofelia Plummer, Jaimison Plummer, Lilly Bourque, Morgan, Sarah, Taylor, Alyssa, Haven, Jody, Broussard, Alexis, Savannah, and Bentley Bailey; great-great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Cohen, and Carter Broussard, and Dawson Bodin; and her brothers, Edward Sabra Mire, Lloyd Mire, Harry Mire, and Hariss Mire;Godchild, T-Babe Broussard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pervis Broussard; parents, Theonice and Olite Mire; grandson, Jody Ray Broussard; daughter-in-law, Linda Broussard; brothers, Revis, Ernest, Elton, Ellis, Allisonand Joseph; and a sister Olive Mire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Moday, March 09, from 8:00 AM until time of service.
