Helen L. Marceaux

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Helen LeMaire Marceaux, 89, who died Monday, December 23, 2019 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Huey Joel "Joey" Marceaux and his wife, Michelle of Destrehan; two daughters, Priscilla and her husband, Harley McElroy of Lafayette and Linda and her husband, Richard Landry of Kaplan; two brothers, Asa LeMaire and his wife, Elizabeth of Richmond, TX and Gerald LeMaire and his wife, Janelle of Kaplan; 10 grandchildren, Alexandra M. Hebert and her husband, Ryan, Gabe Marceaux and his wife, Richelle, Amber M. Primeaux and her husband, Cedric, Ashlee M. Richard and her husband, Nathan, Jessica Cooke and her husband, Peter, Louise Buttross and her husband, Eddie, Meegan Domangue and husband, Seth, Jacque Landry and his wife, Katie, Tyler Marceaux, and Landon Marceaux; and 17 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duffy Marceaux, Sr.; one son, Duffy Marceaux, Jr.; one daughter, Jessica Marceaux; her parents, Conrad LeMaire and the former Effie Hebert; one brother, Huey LeMaire; and one sister, Shirley Marceaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 1:45 PM when the procession departs for the church with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
