Helen L. Richoux

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Helen Richoux, 73, who died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.  She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Richoux of Kaplan; four sons, David Richeaux and his wife, Angie of Leroy, Rodney "Dee" Richeaux and his wife, Laura of Kaplan, Jarrod "Pookie" Richoux and his wife, Shannon of Duson, and Beil Richoux of Kaplan; three sisters, Ruby L. LeMaire and her husband, Donald of Kaplan, Judy Trahan and her husband,  Michael of Abbeville, and Mary Harrington of Cow Island; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, B. L. LeBlanc and the former Gertie Hargrave; one grandson, Tylor Richoux; one sister, Betty Broussard; and three brothers-in-law, Ronald "T - Paul" Broussard , Randall R. Harrington, Sr. and Michael Dean Duhon, Sr..

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 10:00 AM until Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 1:45 PM when the procession departs to the church with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM on Monday, September 23, 2019.
