Helen Guidry Trahan

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Helen Rose Guidry Trahan, 86, who died Friday, July 24, 2020 at Vermilion Health Care Center.  She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Deacon William "Billy" Vincent officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, David Trahan and his wife, Raye Nell of Kaplan; her two grandchildren, Katie and her husband, Eric Primeaux of Kaplan and Kristie Trahan and her fiancé, Drew Dupuis; and her three great grandchildren, Alyssa Long, Emily Primeaux and Mia Primeaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Boque" Trahan; her son, Larry Trahan; her two brothers, Francis "Jeb" Guidry and Daniel Mouton; and two sisters, Viola Pillsbury and Ethel "Shorty" Guidry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the time of the services at 11:00 AM.
