Hortense Smith

Abbeville—Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at St. Paul Cemetery honoring the life of Hortense LeBlanc Smith, 97, who died Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Maison duMonde Living Center.  She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon William "Billy" Vincent officiating the services.

She is survived by a son Richard Henry Smith and wife, Mary of Nunez; four daughters, Martha Nell Smith of Albuquerque, NM, Jackie Langlinais and her husband, Glen of Abbeville, Roberta Smith of Abbeville, and Lisa Smith of Kaplan; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 8 great- great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Henry Smith; her parents, Adam and Elvire LeBlanc; grandson, Damon Jace Babin; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
