Howard J. Boutte, Sr.

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March  7, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Howard J. Boutte, Sr., 83, who died Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his residence. Deacon William "Billy" Vincent will officiate the services.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Robbie B. Boutte of Kaplan; his five sons, Danny Boutte of Kaplan, Brian Boutte of Kaplan, Brent Boutte and his wife, Cindy of Broussard, Chris Boutte of Kaplan, and Howard Boutte, Jr. of Lake Charles; his four daughters, Janet Boutte of Kaplan, Patricia Garcia and her husband, Ruben of Houston, TX, Laura Richoux and her husband, Dee of Kaplan, and Crystal Boutte of Lake Charles; 22 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and his two furry companions, Liljeaux and Lucy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Boutte and the former Ena Meaux; his sister, Shirley Guidry; and his three dogs, Toejeaux, Peanut, and Tippy.

The Boutte family would like to thank Lamm Hospice, especially Patty, Lisa, Melissa, Krystal and Marissa, for the wonderful care they provided for Mr. Boutte. The family would also like to thank Chaplain Mark Broussard from Lamm Hospice for praying with Mr. Howard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, March  7, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
