Hubert Suire

Gueydan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Hubert Suire, 73, who died Friday, December 25, 2020 at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home.  He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery.

He is survived by his two sons, Burton Suire and his wife, Iris of Gueydan and Mark Suire and his wife, Lori of Scott; his two sisters, Linda Mathews of Kaplan and Margaret Miller of Kaplan; his brother, Lloyd Suire of Gueydan; his nine grandchildren; and his six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Belle Suire; his son, Kevin Suire; his brother, Henry Suire, Jr.; and his parents, Henry Suire, Sr. and the former Eula Vincent.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 1:15 PM.
