Hulen Duhon

Maurice—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, August 07, 2021 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice honoring the life of Hulen Duhon, 80, who passed away Wednesday, August 04, 2021 at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital.  He will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Father Paul Bienvenu officiating the services.  Pallbearers will be Guy Duhon, Tony Libersat, Andre Couvillon, Nicholas Trahan, Brett Trahan, and Chad Lege.

Hulen had a passion for gardening and loved being around family and friends. His grandchildren were the light of his life.

He is survived by his son, Guy Duhon and his wife Christy; daughter, Renee Libersat and her husband Tony; three grandchildren, Shelly Couvillon, Madison Duhon, and Molly Mae Duhon; a sister, Katie Trahan; and special friend, Yvonne Arceneaux.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Merelyn Duhon, parents, Minos Duhon and the former Bella Trahan; and infant brother, John Howard Duhon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Saturday, August 07, 2021 from 10:30 AM until 1:00 PM when the procession will depart for the church.
