Huong Van Nguyen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Huong Nguyen, 83, who departed this life on September 14, 2024. He was born on April 19, 1941 in Hai Phong, Vietnam and immigrated to the US in 1975. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Stephanie Mong Nguyen, his sons; Nghiep, Nghe (Khahh Ly), Dan (Loan), Truoc (Hoa), Sau, his daughter; Elizabeth, his brothers, Nghien and Giang. Also surviving are his 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gian and Ty, his sisters, Hien and Bich, brother, Hoang and his son, Ngu.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with a Rosary at 6:00pm, mass at 6:30pm on Wednesday thru Friday, September 18-20, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home 209 S. St. Charles St., Abbeville, LA 70510.

A mass to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 300 Pere Megret St, Abbeville, LA 70510. The burial service will follow after at St. Paul Cemetery Abbeville, LA.
