Irene Mire Bourque

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Irene Mire Bourque, 88, who died Wednesday, April 12, 2023.  She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her three grandchildren, Philip Campbell and his wife, Kristi of Kaplan, Charlotte Campbell of Kaplan and Andrea Richard and her husband Ryan of Lyons Point; her four great grandchildren, Emily Campbell, Kelsey Campbell, Olivia Richard and John William Richard; her great-great grandchild, Ezyln Choate; her three sisters, Shirlene M. Smith of Morse, Iris M. Dubois of Lafayette and Delores Cormier of Kaplan; and her three brothers, Paul L. Mire of Lafayette, Lewelyn Breaux of Kaplan and Melvin Touchet and his wife, Shirley of Erath.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Bourque; her two daughters, Joyce Campbell and Brenda Demette; and her parents, Sagnes Mire and the former Agnes Cormier.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 9:30 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 AM.
