Isaac James Luquette

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 22, 2023  at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Isaac James Luquette, 21, who died Tuesday, September 19, 2023.  He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Pastor Francis Plaisance officiating the services.  Those serving as pallbearers will be Tristin McMaster, Cole Brattin, Clayton Rachalla, Gavin Luquette, Chad Brown, Caleb Brown, Dakota Norris and Scott Kapanke.

Isaac was a mechanic at Mendoza Ford. In his spare time, he enjoyed gaming, working on his car, and traveling to different football games. Above all he loved his family his motorcycle, and his dog, Bear. Isaac was loved by many, he was compassionate, caring and the friend you could always call on.

He is survived by his parents, Shane and Robin Luquette; brother, Gavin J. Luquette; sister, Jobie N. Luquette; partner, Destiny Derouen; maternal grandmother, Frances P. Huey; paternal grandmother, Juanita Meaux; his dog, Bear; and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James F. Huey, III, and paternal grandfather, Aubrey N. Luquette.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 11:00 PM; Friday, September 22, 2023,  from 8:00 AM until time of services.
