J. Noris Lasalle

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of J. Noris LaSalle, 81, who died Thursday, September 9, 2021 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Fr. Glenn Meaux officiating the services.

Mr. LaSalle was the owner/operator of LaSalle Repair Shop and Wrecker Service in Kaplan for many years.

He is survived by his stepson, Mike "Bulleye" Trahan of Kaplan; his two daughters, Sheila Hebert and her husband, Wesley of Abbeville and Angela LeDoux and her husband, Jason of Kaplan; his four grandchildren, Kayla Hebert, Megan Hebert, Brad LeDoux and Brooke LeDoux; his three sisters, Barbara Deshotel of Jennings, Geneva Bodin of Erath and Delores Doucet of Rayne; and his five brothers, Clifton LaSalle of Kaplan, Ray Allen LaSalle of Crowley, Donald LaSalle of Kaplan, Rodney LaSalle of Kaplan and Harry LaSalle of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Louise Dupont LaSalle; his son, Bryant LaSalle; his parents, Gordy LaSalle and the former Eunice Faulk; his three sisters, Mary Ann Abshire, Joyce Dupont and Dorothy Schexnider; and his three brothers, Joseph, Lurcy and Ronald LaSalle.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 600 N. Church Avenue, on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 10:00 AM with a rosary being prayed at 9:30 AM.
