James Carl Daniels

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of James Carl Daniels, 83, who died Friday, August 21, 2020 at Pelican Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Deacon Art Bakeler will be officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Brenetta Broussard Daniels of Maurice; his children, Jacqueline Daniels Richard and her husband, Ross of Kaplan, Jenna Daniels Godwin and her husband, James of Erath, Angela Daniels Chambless of Gueydan, Travis Gallet and his wife, Shelly of Youngsville, and Jeri Perrin and her husband, Bryan of Milton; his grandchildren, Karson Richard, Kase Richard, Jaylen Godwin, Drake Godwin, Mason Godwin, Lauren Gallet, Carilone Gallet, Abby Carrier, Kye Carrier, and Gabrielle Perrin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Daniels and the former Delta Fruge; and one brother, Dr. Walter Daniels.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 1:45 PM when the procession departs for the church.
