James Harris Turner

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of James Harris Turner, 77, who died Friday, November 19, 2021 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Steven, Ronnie, Ivy, Chad, Cody and Ethan.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Turner; his children, Jimmy and his wife, Pam, Ethan and his wife, Katelyn, Crystal, Renee, Angie, Brandie, Kellie and her husband, Cody, Aaron, Steven and his wife, Tina, Becky, Chad and Shane; and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson James Turner and the former Neola Broussard; and numerous brothers and sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 11:00 AM.
